Stephen Spletzer is a seasoned HVACR professional who has spent the last twenty-five years working in applications. He started his career conducting Shock Physics research for the Army Research Laboratory at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds. Stephen then transitioned into the chemical industry, where he has spent twenty years working for refrigerant and equipment manufacturers. His responsibilities have included system testing, tech service, industry training, and design and development of educational programs, literature, and mobile applications. Now with the Chemours Company, Stephen is active engaged in Codes and Standards activities for the HVACR industry, and supports the adoption of next generation refrigerants technologies.
