Johnson Controls
Paul de Larminat is a French national. He holds a Ph-D in Mechanical engineering from Lehigh University (USA). He has been with YORK / Johnson Controls for 40 years, in various R&D and engineering responsibilities in Europe and globally, covering a wide range of sectors in Air Conditioning, heat pumps, marine and industrial refrigeration, using natural and synthetic fluids. He was the author of many technical papers in these sectors. As Director of Advanced technologies, he pioneered some key innovations for chillers, like the development of YORK magnetic bearing centrifugal chillers, and Falling Film evaporators, resulting in a number of patents. Now as a consultant, primarily for Johnson Controls, his main focus is on regulatory issues regarding energy efficiency and refrigerants in EU and globally.
