AWARD WINNER: Young Researcher (James Joule)

Dr. Pascal CLAIN is a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Pierre and Marie Curie University. He studies the thermophysical properties of phase change materials and more particularly those of simple and mixed gas hydrates. One of the important axes of his research is the establishment of innovative processes and systems (thermal energy storage, air conditioning, gas separation) in order to exploit the physical characteristics of these materials, as efficiently as possible, and to limit their environmental impact.
