Pedro Vicente-Quiles is full professor at Miguel Hernández University of Spain. He has been a mechanical engineer since 1997and Phd since 2002. During 20 years of university teaching, in Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer Processes and Energy Efficiency, he has directed more than 80 diploma-works and 5 Doctoral Theses. He has published more than 25 scientific articles in impact journals, has participated in 50 scientific congresses and has given 80 conferences.
He has written 9 books on: solar thermal energy, instrumentation, heat pumps, energy efficiency in facilities and renewable energy in buildings. He is currently vice president of the Technical Committee of ATECYR (the Spanish HVAC association) and member of the technical and scientific committee of REHVA.
His main fields of interest today are: Energy efficiency in buildings, heat pumps, application of photovoltaic solar energy on the thermal installations of buildings, solar thermal energy.
