Dr. Simarpreet Singh has recently completed his Post-doctoral research in Aug 2019 at Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras). Mr. Singh received his Doctorate Degree in Thermal Engineering in 2013 at BITS Pilani, India. The broad area of his research work is HVAC & Refrigeration applications using natural refrigerants (CO2 and Ammonia), at the high ambient context. Currently he is indulged with three CO2 supermarket cooling projects in India:

1. "INDEE" 2016-2019, an Indo-Norwegian project, Funded by Research Council of Norway (RCN).

2. "Evaporative gas cooler capacitate CO2 refrigeration system" 2017-2019, Funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST).

3.  "Performance enhancement of CO2 refrigeration system with thermal energy storage (TES) for Indian dairy industry (DAIRY-TES), 2019-2021, Funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST).

Dr. Singh also guided various research projects of B. Tech, M. Tech, MS, Ph. D students. His research group has published number of research papers in reputed journals and conferences. Recently, he receive the best student poster award from EMERSON INDIA in REFCOLD event.
